I offer both in-home private instruction, and group instruction in obedience and problem solving.
In-home services work well for:
- Situations where there are many family members
- Problems specific to the house layout
- Shy or fearful dogs not yet ready for a group class experience
- Extremely excitable dogs that need some practice before getting out and about
- I cover Pittsboro, Siler City, Durham, Chapel Hill/Carrboro, and some parts of Raleigh and Apex ( some areas will have a travel fee)
- Fees are $35 an hour, with a 1 hour minimum
Group classes and private lessons through Petco at Southpoint ( Durham, NC) work well for:
- Puppies needing a puppy class for socialization
- Dogs with average problems ready to work on their behavior
- Teams looking for a more challenging distraction training site
- One or two person teams that have no specific problems at home
- People wanting to work on their exact goals intensively can do private lessons in store
- Work on the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen test or pre- Therapy work
- Tricks class that integrates trick training with some basic obedience
- Housetraining and Puppy short workshops to get you going
- Fees range from $10 for workshops to 179.99 for packages of private lessons
